> Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan requires only registration — no credit card, no commitment, no time limit. It includes unlimited local AI (Ollama plus the Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLIs). Cloud AI credits come with the paid plans.
> Do I need my own AI API keys?
No. On paid plans all 11 cloud AI models are included — Claude, GPT, Gemini, DeepSeek. VDI Agent handles everything through its backend; you just pick a model and use it. A BYOK plan for people who prefer their own keys is on the roadmap, but it is not available yet.
> What counts as a credit?
Each time you send a prompt to a cloud AI model and receive a response costs one credit. Local providers (Ollama and the local CLIs) never consume credits.
> What is the difference between BYOK and Local Edition?
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) is a planned tier — not purchasable yet — that will let you use your own API keys for cloud providers (Claude, OpenAI, Google). Local Edition is available today: completely free, works offline using Ollama — no cloud, no API keys, no internet required.
> Does VDI Agent install inside my VDI?
No. VDI Agent runs entirely on your host PC — the machine running the VDI client. Nothing is installed inside the VDI session. Zero footprint.
> Can I use one license across multiple VDI sessions?
Yes. Your license works across all VDI platforms — Citrix, RDP, AVD, VMware, AWS WorkSpaces — simultaneously.
> Is there team/enterprise pricing?
Yes. Business and Enterprise plans (8000+ credits/user/month) are quoted per deployment, with PII auto-redaction, SSO/SAML, on-premise deployment, air-gapped mode, admin dashboard, audit log, and EU data residency at the Enterprise level. Contact us for a quote.
