Does VDI Agent work on Citrix XenDesktop?
Yes. VDI Agent runs on your host machine and overlays the Citrix session window. It does not run inside the VDI session.
Do I need admin rights to run VDI Agent?
No. VDI Agent is a portable .exe that runs without installation, registry writes, or admin privileges.
What if my corporate DNS blocks AI websites?
VDI Agent connects through its own backend, so it works regardless of DNS configuration on your network.
What AI models does VDI Agent support?
Claude (Anthropic), GPT-4 (OpenAI), Gemini (Google), DeepSeek, Mistral, Groq, and Ollama for local models.
Is VDI Agent free?
Yes, there is a free tier with 200 credits. No credit card required.
Does VDI Agent read my screen?
Yes, VDI Agent can read visible screen content via OCR to answer questions about what you are looking at.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes, BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode lets you use your own provider API keys.
What operating systems does VDI Agent support?
Windows 10 (build 19041 or later) and Windows 11.
Is my data safe?
VDI Agent scrubs personally identifiable information before transmitting any data. Queries are not stored on our servers.
Does VDI Agent work on Azure Virtual Desktop?
Yes. It works on any VDI platform where you have a Windows host machine running the VDI client.
